Börek with Feta Cheese and Dill Weed (or Parsley)


INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 large filo leaves - thicker filo leaves available from online Turkish grocery stores.
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lb feta cheese
  • 1 cup Dill weed (or parsley), chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Black caraway seeds


DIRECTIONS:

This recipe is identical to Börek with Ground Beef, Pine Nuts and Currants. The only difference is in the filling. To prepare the filling, Mash the feta cheese using a fork and mix it with the chopped dill weed.
